Meet the people who make our mission possible. Our board is made up of dedicated leaders who bring deep expertise, compassion, and a shared commitment to supporting the autism community. At the heart of Serve the Spectrum are our founders, Ashley and Paul DeHaan—a husband and wife team united by their passion for creating a more inclusive, supportive world for those on the spectrum.

Ashley DeHaan, President and Co‑Founder of Serve the Spectrum Inc., is a North Carolina native and graduate of UNC–Chapel Hill. With more than 18 years of experience in consulting and operations, she currently serves as a Director of Operations for a technology solutions company.

Ashley founded Serve the Spectrum in 2021, inspired by her eldest child’s autism diagnosis at age three and her commitment to improving access to support and opportunities for autistic individuals.

Paul DeHaan, Director and Co‑Founder of Serve the Spectrum Inc., studied at Minnesota State and serves as the Chief Technology Officer for a technology solutions company.

As a devoted husband and father, Paul is passionate about supporting families in the local community and organizations that make a meaningful difference. He is is known for generously sharing his knowledge, time, and resources to help improve the lives of others. His dedication to service has been an essential part of shaping the mission and impact of Serve the Spectrum.
